What Windows will show, and why
The Windows file does not yet carry a code signature. Two warnings are therefore normal; here they are, before they appear.
1. Edge holds the download back
Edge shows "greffo-setup-1.0.0.exe is not commonly downloaded" and leaves the file in Downloads under a name like "Unconfirmed 123456.crdownload". The file is complete, but not yet usable. To keep it: hover the line in the downloads panel, open the "⋯" menu, choose "Keep", then "Show more" and "Keep anyway".
2. SmartScreen on first launch
Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click "More info", then "Run anyway".
These screens come from the absence of a signature and the novelty of the file, not from its content: the SHA-256 fingerprint above lets you verify what you downloaded.
macOS

On first opening
The macOS file is signed and notarised with Apple: no blocking screen. On first opening, macOS simply asks for a confirmation.
If a warning still appears and refuses to open the file: System Settings, "Privacy and Security", then "Open Anyway".
It lets you verify that the downloaded file is exactly the one we published, to the byte. That is the check we offer while the Windows file carries no code signature.
The installation
